Electrical Technician - Test Systems

Our Test team contribute to complex powertrain engineering projects, working with prestigious manufacturers and Tier 1 suppliers across the automotive and motorsport sectors, finding creative solutions to engineering problems whilst developing outstanding technology.
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technicianwho will provide Electrical and Instrumentation Support to our growing test team and across the wider business.

You will provide Electrical and Instrumentation Support for Test Systems Hardware and Portable Instrumentation used by our Test and Development team and other Electrical Equipment used throughout the business
You will contribute to the design, build, installation and commissioning of new test systems, you will also renovate and maintain existing test equipment
Industrial Panel Building, Soldering, Electrical installation, commissioning and testing
Maintain CMMS for all fixed and portable instrumentation systems
Carry out measurement systems calibration to fixed and portable instrumentation to traceable standards
Assist with Facility infrastructure electrical fault diagnosis, repairs, and upgrades,
Identification of technical challenges and innovative solutions within a project
Maintain documentation in accordance with the company QA system to a high standard throughout each project
The successful Electrical Test Systems Technician will hold a recognised Electrical qualification and 17th Edition wiring regulations.
You will have experience in a similar electrical role within a relevant sector such as industrial machine building/automation or automotive test systems. You will be highly adaptable, working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task and prioritise critical works.
You will be able to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics.
