M-Sport are a renowned world championship winning team, involving some of the greatest names and achievements known within the motorsport industry. Based on the historic Dovenby Hall Estate in the scenic Lake District, our team of highly skilled Technicians and Engineers work closely together throughout each step, from design, to building and manufacturing, and then running our elite competitive cars on stages and tracks around the world.
Due to an ever increasing workload, an exciting job opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Loom Builder to work alongside a team of technicians in our busy Electrical Department to manufacture a range of harnesses, sensors and actuators across our range of race and rally cars.
Duties will include:

Manufacturing and repair of vehicle wiring assemblies for our race and rally programs.

Assembling sensor and actuator parts using high specification wire and connectors.

Assembling and servicing electromechanical components

Basic circuit testing.
The ideal candidate should:

Be able to understand electrical assembly drawings and operate in line with our quality control standards.

Have previous experience in an electrical/ electronic assembly environment including wiring harness assembly, crimping and soldering.

Be well organised and delivery focused, to meet on-time deadlines in a high pressured and time sensitive environment.

Have excellent communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Experience in a similar race or rally setting would be an advantage. The role would suit a self-motivated team player with an enthusiastic and positive attitude. Auto Electrical experience would be beneficial although not essential. A flexible approach to working hours is required.
