OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To support the UK Programs with the validation of UK/EU market features using Labcar. This will involve the continued development, maintenance and use of Labcar and HiL test rigs using simulation models utilising Matlab and dSPACE.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES .
- Responsible for the development, maintenance and use of Labcar and HiL rig simulation models to support multiple power train and transmission interfaces.
- Responsible for the update of Labcar software to support functional and network testing ahead of vehicle build phases.
- Responsible for reporting Labcar test status to the EE senior manager including any open issues in line with EE gateway deliverables.
- Coordinating and assisting in the validation and testing of electrical systems and components on Labcar and HiL rigs, working closely with the integration and component engineers.
- Supporting investigation work including report feedback on engineering and vehicle market issues within the appropriate company time scales.
