Role Overview

As EE and Software Program Manager you will be responsible to collaborate and coordinate across all functions related to the delivery of the Electrical Systems and Software for the Ocean Program. As Program Manager your primarily role is to turn program goals and objectives into tasks and deliverables, develop and implement key metrics, monitor program progress and enable the EE and Software teams to a successful on time and on budget delivery. This role requires exceptional communication and organizational skills. A successful candidate needs to thrive in a pressurized environment using data and facts to help identify risks, manage resources and solve problems quickly and effectively. A strong team ethic with the ability to interact at all levels and across business boundaries is required to be successful in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and monitor project plans
  • Business and Technical target monitoring
  • Program metrics generation, including timing and cost status tracking
  • Manage cross-functional meetings for EE and Software Teams
  • Timing control, planning, synchronization communication to all stake holders
  • Identify programme disconnects and pro-actively identify and implement all required resolution activities
  • Report Status on weekly established Program Meetings
  • Act as primary stakeholder on Gateways deliverables for EE and Software team
  • Identify Risks and Opportunities and ensure they are proper communicated and channeled 
  • Support Vehicle Line Program Manager in overall program coordination and delivery

Basic Qualifications / Knowledge / Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Engineering Computer Science
  • Master’s Degree is preferred.
  • 5 Years minimum of experience as Program Manager in Software or Electrical Systems
  • 5-7 Years of experience in Automotive Industry
  • Knowledge / qualifications in Six Sigma / Lean.
  • Problem solving; 8D, Practical problem solving.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Explorer.
  • Proven track record of working on automotive vehicle delivery programs.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Independent /Self Starting.
  • Punctual and reliable.
  • Good working ethic and team player.
  • Eager to learn.
  • Fluent spoken and written English.
