Responsibilities:
- Setup and operate mobile production trailer at each of the World of Outlaws Sprint car races and other events as necessary
- Direct live broadcast race coverage by live switching camera angles, adding graphics, inserting pre-produced content and other methods
- Maintain mobile production trailer so that production equipment is clean and in working order to minimize potential issues with live broadcasts
- Shoot additional video content at track as needed throughout the year
- Assist in the creation of and editing of post race highlights as needed
- Operate camera for race coverage at select events
- Ensure that live broadcasts are consistent productions and meet DIRTVision standards
- Design graphic elements for show use as needed
- Produce additional pre-recorded broadcast content as needed
- Work with team to help create a consistent archive of event footage
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 3 years broadcast and video production experience
- Knowledge of and interest in short track dirt racing preferred
- High sense of ownership and personal accountability required
- Proven record of dependability and integrity
- Strong organizational skills necessary
- Good written and verbal skills
- Proven history of successfully handling multiple projects simultaneously
- History of and willingness to work in a team environment
- Able to maintain positive demeanor, even in highly stressful or demanding situations
