General Summary:

This position reports to the Chief Partnerships Officer or their designee; is in Banbury, UK.  Responsible for a small group of Marketing Professionals and the direction of the Marketing Department.  Act as central point of contact for Marketing group and other departments to address marketing, branding, and sponsorship related concerns. Responsible for day to day relationship and support programmes for sponsors and other official partners.   Manage the allocation and application of sponsorship related assets ensuring that contractual obligations are fulfilled, and value add is provided to the Team’s sponsors. Acts as day to day point of contact for sponsors and their management teams on all sponsor activation programmes.

General Responsibilities

  • Manage department personnel from recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement through to separation.
  • Mentor, train and guide personnel as required. Develop staff using effective performance reviews and development plans.
  • Promote teamwork and effective communications to develop working relationships between all personnel and departments.
  • Responsible for establishing standard operating procedures and budgets to maintain a practical yet functional department.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Chief Partnerships Officer or their designee.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Team’s contracted sponsor assets, sponsor requirements and plans
  • Seek new opportunities for leveraging sponsorship assets to provide incremental value to sponsors
  • Assist sponsors in developing their own marketing programs where required
  • Manage implementation of sponsor support programmes ensuring that Haas F1 Team resources are applied in a logical and efficient manner
  • Supervise Haas employees working on such programmes both at Haas premises and at events
  • Liaise and coordinate with vendors and other third parties such as sponsorship and hospitality agencies in delivering Haas assets and sponsor requirements
  • Work with the Trackside Operations Manager to ensure that FIA credentials have been provided to eligible sponsor representatives
  • Coordinate merchandising, hospitality, and media resources in order to support all sponsor activation programmes
  • Develop suitable systems to administer all sponsor support including Paddock Club and other accreditation documentation at events
  • Assist sponsors with indirect resources such as travel and visa advice, FIA regulations, FOM requirements etc.
  • Develops expert-level understanding of F1 business including FIA, FOM and other Formula One World Championship teams.
  • Follow all safety regulations in all venues.

Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field.
  • Minimum five years’ experience leading a marketing support program.
  • Experience in marketing and running a marketing team.
  • Proven and extensive experience on marketing programme delivery.
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets.
  • Professional and proactive work ethic.
  • High competence in project and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
