Digital Media Manager

Are you a Digital Media professional looking for your next role within a Formula 1 Team? If so, Alpine Racing have a rare and exciting opportunity to join our team based in Enstone, Oxfordshire. In this key role we are seeking a highly talented individual that will help conceive and bring to life imaginative ideas and digital/social activations.

Digital Media Manager – The role
Reporting to the Head of Communications, you will be responsible for leading the team’s social media presence. With the support of the wider Marketing and Communications team you will create long-term digital media communications, plans to improve brand visibility and align with strategic brand objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing all aspects of multiple social media accounts, including weekly and monthly planning, community development, plus identifying new platforms that could be exploited by the team.
  • Creating multi-format content ideas to fulfil strategic needs, with a focus on growing engagement and performance across social channels.
  • Create a strong voice for team management across social media channels, including CEO, Team Principal and other senior management.
  • Production of in-house content and/or management of external agencies.
  • Responsibility for content and posts across all F1 team social platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, LinkedIn, YouTube, list non-exhaustive).
  • Share and manage content streams from other Alpine and F1 stakeholders and partners.

This role is based at our factory in Enstone, Oxfordshire but will require some worldwide travel.

Digital Media Manager – The person
We’re looking for experienced applicants (8+ years working within digital communications), from within corporate multinational organisations.

The successful candidate will possess demonstrated experience in developing and writing cutting edge creative campaigns with an emphasis on innovation. They will have strong conceptual/strategic thinking, have proficient knowledge of analytics tools as well as organic vs paid functions.

Experience in working in the professional sports industry would be at an advantage, or experience of the entertainment industry.

As this role will be working across French and UK teams, fluency in both languages would be advantageous.
