Digital Marketing Manager Position Summary

Xtreme Xperience is seeking a passionate, savvy digital marketer to join our marketing team. Reporting directly to the CMO as our resident digital marketing expert, you will take the wheel of an established, proven and healthy marketing machine with the opportunity to test out your wildest marketing ideas.

You will play a critical role in driving customer growth. Your responsibilities include owning the strategy, development, and execution of digital marketing programs focused on improving ticket sales, lead generation, engagement, and retention. You will be responsible for end-to-end delivery from strategy to evaluation of performance against KPIs.

You’ll join a marketing team that is ready and willing to support your ideas with a range of in-house and outsourced capabilities including: paid search and social advertising, SEO, web design and development, graphic design, content marketing, photography, video production, copywriting, social media management, and much more.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Customer Acquisition / Funnel Marketing

  • Maps out and understands the customer journey and implements tactics to optimize the path to purchase and repeat business
  • Develop successful lead generation programs using digital strategies to drive funnel fulfillment
  • Work with Paid Search & Social Lead and creative team to develop cohesive marketing campaigns that span across display advertising, search engine marketing, social media, email, website and landing pages.
  • Work with our Paid Search & Social Lead on paid media strategy, optimization, tracking and reporting to drive efficiencies, traffic, revenue and new customer growth
  • Be a channel expert with authority and keep up-to-date with new platforms and initiatives
  • Build campaign landing pages with drag-and-drop web page builder (Thrive, Unbounce, Leadpages, etc)

Channel Communication - Email/CRM

  • Test and optimize lead magnets to capture leads and convert them into customers using email automation, content and retargeting
  • Work closely with Content Marketing Manager to ensure holistic full-funnel approach to all Xtreme Xperience communications
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in customer segmentation and the CRM channel to continuously improve execution and optimizations - i.e. contact tags, automation triggers, list segmentation
  • Develop, execute & manage email automation and broadcast email marketing messages
  • Act as a campaign strategist for end-to-end execution of campaigns, including defining the audience targeting and analyzing results
  • Own comprehensive reporting of all relevant CRM KPIs to track performance on individual campaigns as well as overall performance

Marketing Technology, Website, Analytics

  • Maintains and optimizes a digital marketing foundation and marketing technology stack including researching, onboarding and managing vendors and launching best practices
  • Wordpress management / light website maintenance (updating copy, images, product pages)
  • Serve as liaison with our Web Dev agency on projects and technical website maintenance
  • Connect various APIs, customer data and marketing softwares across platforms
  • Monitor the health of our website and observe usage trends
  • Initiate and conduct in-depth user data analyses and experimentation that will directly impact strategy. Use testing & web performance tools - Apps like Hotjar, Google Optimize, Surveying, etc
  • Regular and ad-hoc oral and written communication of metrics, successes, trends, failures, best practices etc. to improve the overall operating efficiency of the funnel
  • Manage and present performance reports, analyze performance and contribution against business goals. Use insights to identify actionable opportunities and improve performance

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of digital marketing/CRM experience in a consumer-facing, fast-paced company.
  • Solid track record of successfully managing and building large-scale, complex B2C email campaigns in marketing automation platforms (ActiveCampaign, Pardot, Hubspot, Marketo)
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing digital marketing initiatives including lead generation, lead nurturing, marketing automation, trigger-based emails, SEO/SEM, display online advertising, social media, and web/microsites.
  • Working knowledge of (but not directly responsible for) digital advertising, especially Facebook, Instagram, Google, and YouTube
  • Demonstrated understanding of B2B and B2C Sales funnel. Knowledge of sales pipelines and how to positively impact funnel conversion rates.
  • Wordpress Experience
  • Expertise in working with Google Analytics, Google Optimize, Google Tag Manager
  • Microsoft Office Software Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint OR Google Suite: Sheets, Docs, Slides
  • Strong knowledge of SEO on- and off-site best practices and ability to execute tactics
  • Project management and organization skills, with meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal/written communication
  • Results-driven marketer with proven quantitative and analytical skills; should be extremely comfortable with Excel (functions, pivots, etc.)
  • Ability to work collaboratively, manage against deadlines and prioritize projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Pro-activeness in coming up with creative and inventive new ideas
  • Entrepreneurial spirit who can initiative projects and implement changes

Bonus Points For:

  • Ability to communicate with web developers. A basic understanding of HTML5 and CSS
  • Experience designing and implementing A/B and multivariate tests
  • Basic Adobe Photoshop skills
  • A passion for cars and/or motorsports
