Digital Marketing Executive

Role Purpose:

To increase and drive subscriptions across print and digital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, and execute data-driven recommendations to increase subscription sales
  • Utilize on and offsite channels to include email, social media, SEO/PPC and digital advertising
  • Conduct analysis to identify opportunities to improve conversion in online and offline sales channels.
  • Responsible for meeting engagement and retention KPIs
  • Working with the Technology and data teams to define and implement reporting requirements
  • Develop and maintain regular reporting on campaign activity, response rates, targets, and other KPIs
  • Working with the Product teams ensure customer journeys are optimized to maximise sales
  • Manage relationships with third party agents, and other suppliers
  • Monitor competitor activity to build a portfolio of ‘best in class’ campaigns and strategies
  • Identify 3rd party technologies/tools that can be used to drive short and long-term conversion improvements

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Solid financial management and analysis skills and a demonstrable ability to manage to spend effectively.
  • Data and analytics prowess and proficiency with google suite reporting
  • Proven experience of managing third party suppliers effectively over long and short-term contracts.

Qualifications Required:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in subscriptions marketing, either in publishing or a similar environment, e.g. membership organisation
  • Marketing qualification (CIM/IDM)
