We are seeking a talented Graphic Designer with at least 2 years of experience to join our growing marketing team. The Graphic Designer is a crucial part of the team and will drive the creation of print and digital elements supporting and translating the vision of the Creative Director (and focus groups) into tangible concepts.

The Graphic Designer will not only be conceptual, but also a hands-on leader, executing exciting digital foundations to build bigger ideas on. This position is responsible for generating ideas, encouraging others to share and explore ideas and maintaining high standards at all times.

This position will work with the Creative Director to develop print/digital layouts for campaign collateral including print ads, merchandise, digital ads, direct mailers, brochures and flyers. Design comps, graphic elements and final deliverables are all part of the Graphic Designer’s responsibilities. This is a quick turn/quick change environment with deadlines. Attention to detail is a must!

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high quality work with a strong attention to detail that clearly meets expectations
  • Deliver quality concepts and executions across multiple marketing mediums
  • Collaborate with other departments and use their feedback to engineer the most innovative marketing solutions
  • Support focus group feedback through ideation and collaboration
  • Ensure graphic solutions are optimized for integration, performance, usability, and sustainability
  • Maintain and manage inventory of marketing materials and asset library
  • Manage digital front-end website changes
  • Assist with design and production of video projects/assets
  • Create email templates; assist with reporting on and improving email campaigns

Requirements:

  • Lead by example (work hard, but have fund doing it!)
  • Self-starting individual with proven ability to take ownership of results
  • Team player who can also work independently under guidance from Creative Director
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and hit quick turn deadlines with little oversight
  • Ability to remain cool under pressure
  • Possess a wise, responsible decision making ability
  • Fluency with digital communication, project management tools and ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Must be conceptually-driven
  • Working knowledge of search engine optimization best practices
  • Experience working on mobile projects with understanding of mobile design elements, considerations and limitations for Android/iOS
  • Must be experienced producing print-ready documents for digital and offset lithography printing
  • Have working knowledge of industry standards for digital file/document production

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, fine arts, marketing, or related field
  • 2+ years of graphic design experience
  • 2+ years of experience designing print, digital, social and other media solutions
  • Experience with camera work (procurement and editing)
  • Automotive, motorsports and/or forced induction knowledge is highly desired

Software Requirements:

  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat required
  • Video Editing Software experience welcomed, but not required (Premiere, Final Cut Pro, etc)
  • Experience with Drupal, HTML Design, and Wordpress Development welcomed, but not required.
  • Experience with Mailchimp (or any other email marketing provider) welcomed but not required.
