Abbey Precision Ltd is a precision engineering company based in Bradwell Abbey, Milton Keynes, that specialises in high precision component manufacture primarily for the motorsport, automotive and military sectors. Abbey Precision is the Mercedes F1 Supplier of the Year 2017 (metallics), employing 42 people across two shifts. We are a busy, forward thinking company investing heavily in automated plant and technology to maintain our position as a key supplier.
We are looking to recruit a delivery driver/assistant storeperson to work in our busy stores area due to our existing delivery driver moving to a different role in the company.
ROLE and DUTIES:
1. To assist with the packing, labelling and dispatch of products.
2. To undertake deliveries in the locality using company vehicles.
3. To help maintain stock levels of raw materials and packing materials.
There may be the opportunity to progress within the company for suitable candidates.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Computer literacy.
2. Good communication skills.
3. A full clean drivers license.
4. Good eye for detail, and an accurate and careful worker.
5. Good levels of numeracy and literacy.
6. Willingness to work additional hours when required to complete deliveries.

Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week, 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday. There may be some flexibility in these timings. The person appointed will be required to complete deliveries outside of normal hours from time to time.
Salary: £9.25 per hour, plus overtime when available. Overtime is paid at 1.5X.
