The Location:

Situated in Dandenong South, we are approximately 30 km south-east from Melbourne. Dandenong boasts a thriving metropolitan manufacturing and commercial business district, one of the largest in Greater Melbourne.

The Position:

Our growing retail business is looking for a skilled problem solver to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. We need an enthusiastic individual who can listen to customer service issues and then offer a unique and innovative solution to each problem. The successful candidate for this role will have a strong command of the company’s customer service policies, and be well-trained in product knowledge that can be critical for offering quick and accurate assistance to customers. In this role you will:

  • Answers incoming customer calls regarding billing issues, product problems, service questions and general client concerns
  • Responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism with clients and working to establish a positive rapport with every caller
  • Update customer information in the customer service database during and after each call
  • Work with the management team to stay updated on product knowledge and be informed of any changes in company policies
  • Impact the company’s bottom line by problem solving and turning frustrated clients into repeat customers
  • Maintain the integrity and image of the company at all times.
  • To be courteous and respectful to all team members.
  • To be punctual and reliable.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience (Essential):

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to remain professional and courteous with customers at all times
  • Knowledge and experience of Automotive industry advantageous.
  • Must be available to work occasional nights, holidays and weekends
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in high-pressure practical and manual environment
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Current satisfactory Police Check
  • Ability to work within and business Code of Conduct and values in all interactions.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience (Desirable):

  • Knowledge of customer service practices and relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of varying communication styles and experience with communicating with a diverse range of people.
  • Understanding the importance of attention to detail and relevant strategies to assist.
  • Understanding and experience in time management in order to accomplish objectives effectively within the time frame given.
  • General administrative knowledge and experience that matched the requirements of the position.
  • A genuine interest in the industry
