Customer Service Associate

Founded in 2014, Octane Lending is a financial technology company with the mission of making consumer loans as painless as cash. Focused on niche, underserved markets, our automated loan products deliver competitive pricing and streamlined user experience to potential borrowers. Currently used by 2,500 US dealerships in the powersports and agriculture verticals, we have driven over $1B in loan requests in the last 1.5 years.

Octane Lending is fast becoming a disrupter in the Powersports lending arena. It began with the creation and successful launch of a credit application aggregator platform in 2014 that paved the way for Octane’s own entrance as a lender (Roadrunner Financial) into the prime and near prime Powersports space in 2016. Roadrunner Financial is quickly becoming a lender of choice with Powersports manufacturers and dealers.

Job Summary

We are currently seeking qualified Customer Service associates to work in our Irving Call Center. Our customer service associates primary responsibility will be to answer inbound customer calls to address customer concerns and process payments while providing a first class and professional experience to our customers.

  • Handle an average of 100 inbound and outbound calls per day
  • Process phone payments
  • Conduct various administrative tasks
  • Conduct outbound customer interview calls
  • Resolve common customer concerns regarding their powersports loan
  • Meet monthly productivity and quality goals

Reporting Relationship

  • Reports to Customer Service Supervisor

Requirements

  • Requires a minimum of 2 years related customer service experience in a fast paced environment
  • Typing speed of at least 35 wpm
  • Ability to multi-task
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving ability
  • Ability to speak, read and write English. Bi-Lingual with Spanish is not required but recommended
  • Willingness to work evenings and Saturdays
