Customer Quality Engineer

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

  1.  Participate in business projects with responsibility to ensure KEY SEGMENT customer quality requirement be well identified, understood, fulfilled by SKF organizations.
  2. Coordinator customer and factories to carry out the customer audits and work with factory for related corrective actions;
  3. Drive assigned customer complaint cases, including to set up sorting activities either at SKF or at customer site.
  4. To contribute through all activities to an improved and enhanced customer experience.
  5. To performing various training to frontlines as needed on quality tools, methods and QMS

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  5. To performing various training to frontlines as needed on quality tools, methods and QMS
  6. Drive or participate in QMS maintenance and deployment activities.
  7. To report and analyze quality performance data of customers in scope on a monthly basis.
  8. To support the Customer Quality Manager in developing strategy for the future

 

Job Requirements :

 

  1. Bachelor degree with major in engineering or similar 
  2. Solid knowledge & experience on the latest quality standards (ISO 9001, ISO TS 16949, IRIS)
  3. Customer focused, fact based decision way of working;
  4. Fluent use of quality tools to lead on Problem solving, initiatives, projects
  5. Able to communicate effectively with both internal stakeholders and external parties (customers and suppliers) on all levels
  6. Good planning, organizing and follow up of cross-function team work,
  7. Strong analytical, influence, facilitation skills is a good plus;
  8. Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin;
  9. Skilled to use computer and tools like Excel, Power point, Minitab, Outlook or Lotus Notes
  10. 5 years working experience from automotive parts industry of which at least 3 years’ experience from quality engineering work in manufacturing (Advance Quality, or Customer quality is a plus)
  11. Working experience from a multinational company
  12. Practical experience in leading quality improvement activities/projects
  13. Certified Internal Auditor ISO TS16949 or IRIS is a plus;
