COTA Karting Operations Manager:

We are looking for an adaptable team player with outstanding organizational skills, and the ability to manage a variety of demands in a dynamic work environment. The ideal candidate will have a collaborative attitude and exceptional interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of leadership and staff management. This person will exemplify a positive work culture in order to get the best from their team while having fun and producing great guest experiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage daily operations: staffing, scheduling, fleet management, inventory management
  • Accountable to effectively manage costs around repair and maintenance of kart fleet
  • Manage mechanic department labor costs within acceptable budgets
  • Maintain opening, running and closing duties for department
  • Manage organization and cleanliness of departmental areas
  • Ensure track safety, managing emergency situations and incident reporting, enforcing disciplinary processes and improvements
  • Responsible for to take proactive approach to guest interaction, e.g. time spent in the pit interacting with guests and briefing guests
  • Responsible for all aspects of guest relations, including quality of experience from the moment they step on campus until the moment they leave
  • Empowers staff to deliver exceptional service
  • Responsible for the development of the mechanic and pit team
  • Manages the training of all pit crew and mechanics
  • Encourages a strong team culture within the kart operations department
  • Work closely with Sales Team to prepare kart fleet for private events

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience managing a karting operation, in particular repair and maintenance
  • Proven leadership and team skills; ability to motivate and manage all levels of staff
  • Strong training and development background
  • Working knowledge of Profit & Loss reports
  • Knowledge of Clubspeed
