Position Summary: 

We are seeking an experienced recruiter who is able to think out of the box to build strategic, creative solutions for discovery and onboarding talented individuals to our diverse team. The ideal candidate will posses a passion to support team building for our expanding technology and manufacturing programs. Position is responsible for full cycle recruiting. Must have a minimum of 3 years of full cycle experience staffing for the automotive and defense industry.

Office location Novi, MI.

Essential Functions

  • Partner with hiring managers to define staffing needs
  • Post recruitment initiatives, screens resume, interview candidates (by phone, virtual, and in person), administer appropriate assessments and reference/background checks, recommend candidates for hire (or not hire), deliver employment offers
  • Use traditional and nontraditional resources to identify and attract quality candidates
  • Develop advertising programs (internal and external) to ensure high visibility with potential candidates
  • Follow up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruiting process
  • Develop and maintain an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals
  • Track and report progress of assignments
  • Manage application/resume file and retention according to company policy
  • Additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Human Resources, Marketing, or related field (Preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years of recruiting experience and a minimum of 3 years in automotive and manufacturing recruitment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
