We are looking for someone to develop control systems code using MATLAB / Simulink and test the code on dSpace HIL rig and simulator tools.  You will also be required to create specification and requirements documents and take responsibility for ensuring performance and reliability targets are met by the final production design.

Under guidance from the Control Systems group leader, you will be required to compile and test application software and support track testing of the control systems code on the prototype vehicles. You will be expected to work in accordance with Red Bull Advanced Technologies system design process, liaising with other engineers to ensure the system specifications are met, and to test and validate designs in line with specification and regulatory requirements.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be competent in the use of MATLAB / Simulink, have proven experience in high-end motorsport, aeronautical or automotive control systems development and have experience creating system requirements and specification documentation, project timing and budget planning.  You will also need to take pride in completing work on time, have an interest in learning new techniques, continual personal development and a passion for high-end engineering.

We are also looking for someone with an ability to communicate clearly and succinctly and work cohesively with a range of colleagues and external clients.
