Put simply, Tuning cars!
This role would suit a Software Engineering or Computer Science Graduate with experience in Engineering. A great opportunity to work alongside with both an experienced Powertrain Calibration Software Solutions Engineer and self-employed Software Developers. There is a genuine opportunity to grow within a company where your efforts will be not only noticed but rewarded.
The role will be based at our office facility within Darkside Developments. We perform a wide variety of tuning work from remapping of stock customer vehicles for improved performance, to making the latest OEM ECUs work with modified hardware such as larger turbochargers, injectors and fuel pumps on high power street and track/competition vehicles, including our 9 second Seat Arosa drag car. This work includes reverse engineering of factory software, file interpretation, on vehicle tuning and research, as well as road, dyno and track side testing.
This role will suit a candidate with an engineering or computer science background. Knowledge gaps can be filled, and ideally we are looking for someone who can bring something new to the team. Aside from the main role, there will be an opportunity for a variety of work depending on the skills you can offer.
You will need to be able to work effectively as part of a close knit team, be highly motivated and organised with great attention to detail and an ambitious nature.
