Reporting to: Production Manager
Tasks:
Manufacture of composite, carbon or fiberglass parts, by processing pre-impregnated fabrics, in a vacuum and autoclave
- Realisation of the cutting, draping and setting up of vacuum bag operations based on designs
- Optimised management of the heat chamber/autoclave
- Finishing (deburring), possibly bonding and assembly
- Final inspection of the parts according to the quality follow-up documents
- Creation of carbon mould based on models.
- Management of material stocks
- Ensure proper condition of moulds and tools.
- Respecting the production schedule specified by the Production Director
- Making timely repairs on existing pieces
Basic knowledge:
- Knowledge of composite materials, environment, blends, compatibility of materials,…and processing techniques
- Expertise in assembly and repair techniques of composite materials
- Expertise in the use of a heat chamber and an autoclave
- Reading and interpreting plans, playbook and technical documentation
- Security rules
- Quality control
- Knowledge of technical English / Knowledge of Italian is a plus
Studies:
- Bac+2
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years
