Composites Technician

The position:
We are looking to recruit a Composite Technician to join our team. Would you like to play a vital role in a team which contributes to the race car components? Working in the Composites Department this role will ensure high quality components and other composite assemblies are produced in the most efficient, cost effective way whilst keeping lead-times to a minimum.

The role:
This is a varied role in an exciting environment and to succeed you will need to be adaptable, demonstrate initiative along with the ability to work as a team to meet tight deadlines. Problem-solving, along with attention to detail and a can-do attitude, are key attributes that bring success to the role. With a collaborative approach, good communications and organization skills, you will enjoy working as part of a team and relish a challenge.

Skills you'll use every day:
The successful candidate will have a good level of knowledge around manufacturing technology relating to composite components. Operationally you will ideally have experience with mould making, component manufacture and trimming and fitting. They will be required to liaise with other departments such as the Drawing Office; therefore, good written and verbal communication skills are essential to the success of this role.

Core Skills:
Candidates will possess a recognised apprenticeship or relevant experience in a similar environment as well as demonstrable skills in the following -

Trimming
Fitting
Assembly
Laminating

The following shifts are available - 4 on 4 off and Double Days.
