We have a new opportunity to be part of the Composite Trim Shop team in the role of Trim Shop Supervisor. 

The successful candidate must be enthusiastic, hardworking, flexible, proactive and have a ‘can do’ attitude.

The Successful candidate must have the following attributes:

  • Possess an excellent working knowledge of Composites
  • Must have previous experience in an F1 Trim Shop
  • Must have leadership/Supervisor experience within a composite Trim Shop
  • Must be computer literate
  • Possess a thorough understanding of assemblies and technical drawings
  • Demonstrate a flexible attitude towards working hours.
  • Be available to travel as and when required to fulfil the requirements of the role in which employed.
  • To be self-motivated and to motivate others to thrive in a challenging environment
  • Ability to calmly and confidently work under pressure to achieve targets and deliver results within required timescales
  • To communicate effectively, positively and respectfully with all colleagues
  • To have a flexible attitude and ability to work as part of a team in a demanding and rapidly changing environment.
  • Be results orientated and be confident in your decision-making skills
  • Be enthusiastic and versatile and be able to build, develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues
  • Ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of and commitment to Health & Safety

The Key responsibilities of this role are:

  • To manage and lead a team of day Shift Trimmers and Fitters
  • To delegate work efficiently
  • To develop and appraise staff
  • To review and continuously improve processes
  • To attend and proactively participate in meetings as required.
  • To demonstrate a flexible and understanding approach to the department’s needs.
  • To lead by example.
  • To meet the requirements and demands of the busy periods.
  • To work proactively, responsibly and professionally always and to respect and comply with the company’s reporting structure
  • To maintain and develop skill levels to industry standard.   

 

  • This is a day Shift role Mon-Fri.
