Role: Composite Trimmer/Bonder
Hours: Monday to Friday 07:00 - 16:00 (possible shifts)
Location: Norwich, NR5
To continue the growth and expansion of the company since its formation in 2011, Polar Manufacturing seeks a Composite Trimmer/Bonder to join our team.
We are a manufacturer of carbon fibre and composite components incorporating design, machining and coating, at our facility in Norwich. Polar Manufacturing serves a broad spectrum of industry sectors which includes Defence, Automotive, Sport & Leisure, Communications, Alternative Energy, Marine, Medical and Motorsport, as well as a growing in-house product development capability.
As part of this role you will be working with Pre-Preg carbon fibre composite materials which will include:
- Trimming of varied parts
- Use of Air Tools/Air drill/Diamond Cutting tools
- Ability to read detailed engineering drawings
- Bonding/Assembling of a variety of different parts/shapes and sizes
- Finishing parts - preparing parts for coating
You will also be responsible for maintaining the company’s high standards as well as following precise manufacturing instructions.
Applicants for the role of Composite Trimmer/Bonder must have the following demonstrable qualities:
- Composites experience is preferred
- Able to read engineering drawings
- Able to work well under pressure and as part of a team
- Have a can do, positive attitude
- Must conform to our company ethos
- Exemplary attendance
