Composite Team Leader - Nights

Williams’ core competencies are the design and development of racing cars to compete in the Formula One World Championship. As one of the world's leading Formula One teams, the company has secured 16 FIA Formula One World Championship titles since its foundation in 1977.

The position:

 

We are looking to recruit a Composites Team Leader to join our team working on the night shift.

 

  • Night Shifts runs from Monday to Thursday

Working within the Composites Department, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the Composite Tooling Module which is tasked with producing high quality tools and components in sufficient time to meet the demands set out by the development and production plans for the Formula One race car as well as external customers.

The role:

 

This is an exciting role within a busy department. You will oversee process to ensure robust shop floor data collection. Set and ensure enhanced standard operating procedures, manage all material stock and ensure quality products are being produced whilst leading on continuous improvement initiatives. As Composites Team Leader, you will manage team leaders across the department, carryout annual appraisals and be responsible for recruitment within the team.

Core competencies:

 

We are looking for someone who has experience as a Team Leader in composites. You will have excellent experience of managing composites quality and on-time delivery. Experience of LEAN manufacturing techniques would be advantageous but not a pre-requisite to being successful in your application.  

Core Skills:

 

The successful candidate will have the relevant skills and qualifications to support the role of a Composites Supervisor, as well have come from a similar environment.
