We have a new opportunity to be part of the Composite Manufacturing team in the role of Composite Capacity Planner.
The successful candidate must be enthusiastic, hardworking, flexible, proactive and have a ‘can do’ attitude.
The key responsibilities of this role are to:
- Schedule Composite components through Composite Laminating and Composite Trim Shop
- Proactively collate workload information from multiple departments and sources, including Business Systems.
- Actively maintain the work schedule, keeping all jobs aligned with the current progress in Composites
- Progress and chase for updates
- Identify and log lead times across all relevant areas
- Report back progress or issues to the Manufacturing Manager
- Identify and highlight any red flags
- Assist with the prioritising of work by liaising with the Programs office/ Project Engineers
- Collect relevant data requested by the Manufacturing Manager and create reports.
- Chair, attend and proactively participate in meetings as required
The successful candidate must have the following attributes:
- Have an excellent working knowledge of Scheduling
- Possess a thorough understanding of Composite processes
- Demonstrate a good working knowledge of planning/scheduling
- Previous experience as a Planner or similar in a Formula One environment / high level Motorsport environment
- Be available to travel as and when required to fulfil the requirements of the role in which employed
- To be self-motivated and to motivate others to thrive in a challenging environment
- Ability to calmly and confidently work under pressure to achieve targets and deliver results within required timescales
- To communicate effectively, positively, and respectfully with all colleagues
- To have a flexible attitude and ability to work as part of a team in a demanding and rapidly changing environment
- Be results orientated and be confident in your decision-making skills
- Be enthusiastic and versatile and be able to build, develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues
- Ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of and commitment to Health & Safety
