Compliance Officer

The position:

 

We are looking to recruit a Compliance Officer who will be responsible for the compliance of all Admin aspects of the logistical transportation of goods across the Group.

The role:

 

This varied role will include but will not be limited to ensuring all Staff have the correct documentation, Visas, permits, passports / ID and licenses and are fully qualified for the Vehicle and goods before departure. Relationship building is a key part of the role and will involve working with Managers in various positions including but not limited to Car Build Managers and Race and Events Team Coordinators and Accounts.

 

You will also: -

  • Capture, identify and assist with all required Vehicle and Goods Transportation documentation across the Group
  • Ensure that all documentation is valid for the whole duration of any Journey required.
  • Organise and implement any required staff documentation training, including all Known Consignor Training, ensuring all staff are always compliant.
  • Capture and record all Import /Export, Duty / Tax payable documentation and file for Audit.
  • Achieve all responsibilities and tasks on time and within budget.
  • Work with HMRC with payable Import/Export.

 

Core competencies:

  • Experience in Transport Logistics.
  • Logistics qualifications would be an advantage.
  • Transport Managers CPC desirable.
  • Good Admin experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills - to both give and receive information.
  • Good I.T Skills – MS Word, Excel. Chorus and or equivalent.
