Small but very busy engineering company requires an experienced turner/miller who is competent to program, set and operate CNC machines with Fanuc controls. Should have the following:
- Experience of working to fine tolerances in a range of materials, mainly aluminium + a little mild steel, stainless steel.
- Ability to use a wide variety of measuring equipment
- Ability to set up tools and load materials onto CNC machine
- Ability to create, load, examine and modify CNC programmes
- Ability to read drawings and carry out machining of precision components
- Produce work from one off proto types to small production runs
- Identify and report errors and suggest improvements
- Work with managers, supervisors and colleagues to implement the Company's policies and business objectives
