CNC Team Leader

CAD CAM Automotive (CCA) is an established and growing Automotive Engineering company who for over 100 years have been involved in the design and development of some of the world’s most iconic vehicles. 

Key Tasks - Roles & Responsibilities

• Operating 3 and 5 axis machines 
• Organising staff and machines on a daily basis
• Communicating with the appropriate departments to ensure scheduled work is in line with business needs and project deadlines
• Supervising, mentoring and training of staff including apprentices
• Carry put Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) duties throughout the area including machine cleaning
• Organising TPM
Ensuing the work area overall is kept clean and tidy and all health and safety rules are adhered to including the wearing of PPE
• Equipment maintenance and stock checks
• Review process / procedures and provide ideas for continuous improvement
• Assist in performance reviews / probation reviews
• Report to the CNC Manager and Team Leader at the end of the shift to ensure all are aware of progress made or items to handover
• Ensure Quality work across the department, investigating rework and put steps in place to prevent further issues
• Problem solving including using own initiative 
• Working to tight deadlines

Candidate Technical & Educational Requirements

• Knowledge of WorkNC 
• Experience of using WinMax &/or Heidenhain controls
• Previous experience of working as a Team Leader
• Current 1st Aid certificate
• FLT licence
• Crane licence
