Hewland are looking for hardworking, professional and forward thinking CNC Millers to work alongside an experienced team, manufacturing components used to build high-quality racecar transmissions. The candidates must be willing to work shifts and unsociable hours due to the variable nature of the motorsport industry. Founded in 1957, Hewland Engineering Ltd provides transmissions to a global customer base, to almost every motorsport discipline and to an increasing number of specialist applications. Manufacturing capabilities include state of the art Turning, Milling, Gear Cutting, Heat Treatment and Grinding, including Gear Grinding. Our engineers use the latest design and analysis software and CAE tools to support our customer and new product development programmes.
Essential skills and requirements:
5-10 Years relevant production experience
Experience of Milling Operations
Awareness of and experience working within the latest Health & Safety standards
Effective communication
Problem solving
High attention to detail
Desirable Skills:
Experience of a high quality Manufacturing environment.
Have previously run a Matsuura 3-4-5 Axis machines or similar
