The key duties for this role are:
- creating and developing CNC programmes for multi axis Lathes and Mills
- an understanding of Mazak and the Mazatrol controller to program the CNC Lathes
- performing routine machine maintenance checks and completing check-sheet records
- setting up of machines for production runs in both manned and unmanned periods
- ability to create programmes and successfully prove them out to efficiently produce consistently accurate parts
