Force American Made, a subsidiary of John Force Racing, Inc. is looking for an experienced CNC Operator who can run a variety of CNC machines and help to enhance the productivity of our organization. The ideal candidate is a friendly, highly organized, dependable, hard-working and team-oriented individual who meets the following qualifications:
Job Duties and Responsibilities: include the following but other duties may be assigned
- Knowledge and proficient in use and operation of various CNC equipment
- Experience with HURCO CNC machines is preferred but not required
- Capable of understanding basic drawings, blueprints, sketches and bill of materials
- Proficient knowledge and use of precision measuring equipment and holding tolerances to the tenths of a thousandths
- Basic knowledge of metallurgy for calculating and setting controls to regulate machining factors (speed, feeds, coolant selection and depth and angle of cut)
- Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials on machines as necessary to machine parts as required
- Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjusts machine controls or control media as required
- Perform inspection of parts produced to verify specifications and tolerances using measuring and inspection tools as necessary
- Ensure that every machine procedure is done in accordance with the strict guidelines of the company and consults with supervisor to resolve any machining or assembly problems
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on machines as required
- Follow all company safety protocol
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and maintain all equipment
- Knowledge of Mastercam and Solidworks is a plus but not required
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed to complete projects on deadline or due to demand
