Job Description

 

The successful candidate will participate in all aspects of the management and delivery cycle of the modern workplace with a focus on collaboration, ensuring that support is continually improved through increased automation and leveraging value from adopted tools. This will include the ongoing management and operational availability of the M365 platform.

The role would ideally suit someone with good problem-solving capabilities, excellent stakeholder management, the ability to work under pressure.

 

Activities Will Include

  • Responsible for Microsoft Exchange configuration, along with Email Protection solution.
  • Management of End User devices using MDM (Intune, Jamf), ConfigMgr and Group Policy.
  • Maintain patching level for End User Devices (OS, M365 Apps, Endpoint Controls, 3rd Party Software)
  • Management for Internet access solution and policy.
  • Management of configuration and policies of enterprise collaboration tools (Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
  • Management of Azure Tenant Configuration.
  • Management of Threat Protection Solutions.
  • Maintain Remote Access solution.
  • Documentation of requirements and solution design.
  • Creating technical and user documentation and subsequent handover into business.

    Key Skills/knowledge

  • Experience managing Microsoft Exchange / Exchange Online.
  • Experience managing EDR / XDR solution.
  • Strong hands-on technical experience of managing the following: Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Intune.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams architecture and voice provisioning.
  • Experience of managing devices with MDM platforms.
  • Experience of Patch Management solutions.
  • Experience with software packaging and deployment.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS & DHCP.
  • PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • High standards of documentation and record-keeping.
