The team has been competing in professional motorsport since 2010. In the FIA WEC and ELMS we are delivering value and results as well as demonstrating our passion and commitment to achieve success in all series. In 2021 Inter Europol Competition moved to new facilities located northeast of Warsaw (Poland) which become our new headquarter and home for our sportscar team.
At IEC you will be involved in many different areas of the team:
- Day to day you’ll make sure our cars meet highest standards in build specifications and regulations,
- Follow car build in methodical , consistent and strict rules while respecting agreed deadlines
- Follow Engineering Technical and operational protocols and guidelines
- Responsibility and management for group of mechanics
- Report reliability issues and seek solutions with Engineering team
- Assist with freight and travel planning and manage trackside activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and work with our trackside Team which you will need to engage and inspire.
- Promote teamwork and effective communications to develop working relationships between all personnel and departments.
Education and work experience:
- Leadership and Lead mechanic experience in a similar role within the motorsport world is vital, minimum 5 years’ experience in WEC, F1, ELMS, or Formula cars is preferred.
Specialized knowledge and skills:
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Strong technical background in current breed of LMP2 and\or LMP3 cars
- Able to prioritise the workload and able to manage your time efficiently
- Work to a consistently high standard in stressful and time sensitive situation
