Historika Porsche is based just outside Ipswich, Suffolk and specialise in the restoration and building of Classic Porsche road and racecars to the highest standards. We are a small tight knit team and business that is looking to grow. Historika has a purpose built workshop, which consists of a metal work and fabrication department that includes and media/vapour blast and clean room. Car Storage facilities, in house rolling road, paint preparation. Finally a main workshop with an engineering and machine shop included. These facilities enable us to carry out pretty much all work in house.
Historika provides a friendly and relaxed working environment and a company that cares about their staff. We also care about Porsche and our finished product and attention to details in a necessity as our cars have won trophies on the racetrack and concours lawn.
We have the position of car build / workshop technician becoming available. The successful canditate will need to:
- To build, restore and rebuild road and race cars to the highest standards
- To be self motivated and be able to work with minimum supervision
- But to also be a strong team player and work well in a small team environment
- To communicate and problem solve effectively
- Have good orginistational and time management skills and to be able to work to deadlines
- Have an acute attention to detail
- Car build experience is essential
- Porsche build experience not essential but preferred
- Full driving licence essential
- Event support is optional
