The Jaguar Land Rover Chassis team are looking for a number of MBS Performance Engineers to join us. If you are a Multi Body Systems (MBS) engineer with a passion for the automotive industry we have a number of opportunities for you.
As a CAE MBS Engineer, you will be tasked with taking responsibility for developing the axle and suspension Kinematics and Compliance (K&C) performance and/or predicting the Suspension System and Power Unit Loads. You will carry out MBS analysis to optimise suspension characteristics to meet the cascaded systems level targets. You will also ensure that loads are managed to be within specified targets using virtual MBS tools.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Due to the variety of positions available, we’re looking for candidates with a wide range of skills including knowledge of suspension system design and package layout. Additionally, you’ll need experience and knowledge of suspension systems K&C principles. You’ll require a solid understanding of modelling of vehicle performance and suspension system K&C characteristics development. Knowledge of loads generation and energy management using Simpack or Adams is also required.
