The Jaguar Land Rover Chassis team are looking for a number of component CAD engineers and highly skilled Suspension System Integration CAD engineers to join us. If you are a skilled engineer with a passion for the automotive industry we have a number of opportunities that could be suitable for you.
As CAD Engineer you’ll get the opportunity to demonstrate your skills in developing component designs, from concept to production, for the delivery teams. Alternatively, you could be taking the lead creating and delivering the design of the suspension system layouts and geometry for the vehicles of our future.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Due to the variety of positions available, we’re looking for candidates with a wide range of skills including knowledge of suspension system design and package layout, suspension system principles experience, and/or knowledge of loads generation and management.
Experience of chassis component design, vehicle packaging, and systems integration (especially chassis systems) in a virtual environment will be needed. You’ll also need the ability to manage and resolve complex, cross functional, technical issues when confronted with conflicting requirements within project timing constraints.
A solid understanding of Catia V5 or V6 with TCe (TeamCentre) is required. An appreciation of component, CAD based FEA principles would be an additional benefit for the component design roles.
