In line with Ferrari’s continued development in engine production, we are looking to identify suitably qualified candidates with a minimum of 3 year' dedicated purchasing experience to strengthen our current team. Reporting to the Purchasing Category Manager, you will join in a supporting role to manage specific aspects of the Ferrari purchasing cycle. In this role you will assist in scouting, evaluating and mapping new suppliers, and follow the development of supplier partnerships. You will play a supporting role in following key purchasing indicators, detailed reporting and feedback. A prior experience in a dedicated purchasing environment is therefore important.
Desired Skills and Experience
We are looking for a qualified engineer with a brilliant academic track record. You have at least 3 years’ experience in a dedicated purchasing / buying environment with a high degree of complexity, ideally gained in a high-tech, innovative or engineering sector, not necessarily within the automotive sector.
Fluency in English is a prerequisite, fluency in Italian a real advantage in this head-office based role, and knowledge of a further foreign language (French, German, other) can be a plus as our team works with a diversity of international suppliers. For this reason also, experience of study/internship/work outside your country of origin would be a highly positive factor.
