Business Process and Systems Analyst

As the systems and processes of the company become increasingly complex and the interconnection of the data becomes more intertwined and valuable, we need to clearly map and define our working processes. The job holding candidate will have a strong business analyst background and use this to build relationships in all areas of the company to understand the current processes, evaluate industry best practices and work with all departments to define an integrated process flow and future business strategy.

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst who has proven experience and success in defining new business processes, identifying the business benefits, and working within a team to successfully achieve the new workflow. The candidate will join the Transformation & Data Science Team driving the Team to achieve our goal; to win the Formula 1 World Championship.

Business Process and Systems Analyst– The Role

You will be working with the Business System & Enterprise Architect to define and maintain the business process specification and maintain the business workflow (current and future) within the key business areas.

Other key duties include:

• Aid in building the business cases showing clear business benefit from process flow changes.
• Carry out value stream analysis of current processes and identify the areas which can offer maximum return on investment.
• Develop functional and non-functional requirements for new software applications and integrations.
• Identify and evaluate alternative design solutions and architectures to meet business requirements and processes.

Business Process and Systems Analyst – The person

You will have proven experience as a business analyst with knowledge of process mapping tools and techniques for defining and quantifying improvements. We are looking for an individual with proven experience in digital transformation, process mapping with a good knowledge of architecture standards and specifications. Essential skills include knowledge of BPMN and Lean or Lean/Six-Sigma.

Desirable skills include TOGAF or ArchiMate.

This role requires a high level of commitment and the ability to work individually and as part of the wider department, providing a pro-active and efficient service to the Team. Very good communication and organisation skills are essential along with a real passion for process improvement.
