Business Development Manager

Polestar needs someone in the Canadian Market place to be responsible for the Polestar strategy and business development. You will manage and coordinate the execution of strategic initiatives in the Canadian market. You will be a key member of the management team within Polestar, securing future business opportunities connected to new mobility, connectivity and services. This role is based in Toronto, Canada and reports to the Head of Polestar USA.

What you will do

  • Evaluate business development opportunities in Canada by optimizing market requirements and securing Polestar’s position with target customer segments.
  • Identify strategic partnerships and coordinate connected services development (assessment, business case, development etc.)
  • Formulate, organize and monitor inter-connected projects and drive associated activities.
  • Drive the development of market strategic plan.
  • Manage the “Care by Polestar” offer within the marketplace.
  • Manage the reporting of KPI dashboard, as well as reports to program directors.
  • Apply change, risk, and resource management.
  • Implement suitable strategies and objectives.
  • Manage the staff and vendors of specific programs.
  • Assess program performance to maximize ROI.
