Brand Marketing Lead

To help deliver against this global vision, we are seeking a Brand Marketing Lead based in our HQ in St James Market, reporting to the Head of Marketing. 

This role will involve the creation and development of a brand marketing strategy with the primary focus to grow the F1 fan base in key strategic markets globally, via growth of brand equity, priming fans and yet-to-try audiences through compelling campaigns working closely with our broadcasters, and commercial partners.

The role:

  • Lead F1 Brand Marketing and work closely with Head of Brand Marketing to determine role of Brand Marketing in F1, identifying where the greatest impact can be achieved. 

  • Responsible for managing and facilitating global and strategic market Brand marketing campaigns, following clear diagnosis or target audiences based on insight and then developing a marketing plan and the tactics to be deployed.

  • To build relationships internally across the business, and externally with our partners, including the teams, the race promoters, sponsors, and broadcasters.

About You

You are a high-calibre brand marketing leader with extensive experience of defining, developing, and delivering brand campaigns internationally, and evaluating their performance. 

 

You have:

  • Previous background in Sports could be useful but more important will be experience in entertainments brands that powerfully engage consumers.

  • Previous experience of working with senior leadership teams.

  • Adept at thinking strategically, and able to connect the dots.

  • Understanding of what makes creative work, both at strategic & production levels.

  • Experience of working with and best utilising owned and earned channels primarily, with role of paid media on top.

  • Data-driven with an understanding of how to drive brand equity and value.

  • Financial experience – budget analysis, P&L analysis, forecasting.
