About Brand Experience

The Brand Experience team, based within Marketing, focusses on all the experiences our partners, guests and fans have with the team. Whether that be at Grand Prix or special events, the McLaren Technology Centre or virtually. In collaboration with all departments across Marketing, we’re responsible for bringing our brand experiences and partnerships to life through best-in-class physical and virtual events.

Purpose of the Role:

Responsible for the day to day project management of McLaren’s content broadcast, which airs every Grand’s Prix weekend, and other virtual events.

Role Dimensions

Bringing creativity, passion, and energy to McLaren’s Brand Experience team, our Manager, Brand Experience will be responsible for managing the project team delivering McLaren’s live content broadcast, Slipstream. Delivering unique experiences to our partners and their guests each race weekend. This person will be responsible for overseeing all elements of the live event production, including the management of our third-party production and graphics teams.

Reporting into the Lead, Strategic Projects, you will be based at the McLaren Technology Centre.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Responsible for all day to day team processes and planning
  • Management of the third-party production and graphics team
  • Tracking and reporting of all financial expenditure
  • Oversight of all project elements including, but not limited to; branding and creative, content, AV, presenters, H&S and guest communications in accordance with the overarching brand strategy, as well as objectives, house style and tone of voice
  • Provide updates and feedback to the Lead, Strategic Projects
  • Support with the project growth and strategy

Requirements

· The candidate must have excellent people and leadership skills.

  • The candidate must have prior experience leading a team.
  • The role will suit an applicant with strong organisational skills, attention to detail and coordination capabilities.
  • Being able to work well under pressure is essential.

Desirable

  • Experience of working in television/journalism/content creation is desirable.
  • Experience or knowledge of the Formula 1 or motorsports industry.
