Job Title: Bookkeeper

Hours: Part-Time (20-30 Hours per Week)

Wage: Hourly $25 - $35 per/hr DOE

Reports to: Finance Department Head

Job Description: DirtFish is seeking a person who loves balance sheets & crunching numbers to join our dynamic team. If you find yourself managing your own personal budgets to the dollar, this is a good role for you. The Bookkeeper is responsible for recording and maintaining all DirtFish financial transactions, such as purchases, expenses, invoicing, payments and reporting.

Responsibilities include:

  • Weekly cash flow management, analysis and reporting
  • Reconciliation of product sales tools to Quickbooks (Configeo, Lightspeed, Shopify)
  • AP and AR
  • Tax processing, reporting and payments
  • Payroll (Namely)
  • Credit card & expense report processing and reconciliation (Concur)
  • Monthly financial reporting at budget to actuals
  • Budget data entry to Quickbooks bi-annually
  • Year-end audits and reconciliation including general ledger and balance sheet accounts
  • Work with business owner’s accountant and CPA

Minimum Skills, Education and Other Requirements:

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Self starting and always looking for learning opportunities
  • Take ownership of projects and have the ability to teach yourself what is needed to get the job done
  • 3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience is ideal
  • Thorough knowledge of all basic accounting principles, standards and regulations
  • Proficient in QuickBooks, Office 365 and Google programs
  • Experience with Concur, Configeo, Lightspeed or Shopify is a plus.
  • Experience in small business finance management is a plus
