Role Overview

This role will report to the manufacturing manager located in Graz, Austria.This role requires exceptional communication and organizational skills. A successful candidate needs to thrive in a pressurized environment using data and facts to help identify risks, manage resources and solve problems quickly and effectively. A strong team ethic with the ability to interact at all levels and across business boundaries and with external stakeholders is required to be successful in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for BOM management as part of the on site Fisker launch team
  • Support Fisker Launch System activities and serial production
  • Assist and support cross functional launch teams to resolve issues
  • Track and resolve JIRA issues relating to BOM issues
  • Undertake any other work as directed by the line manager in connection with the job

Basic Qualifications / Knowledge / Experience

  • Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline. 
  • ±5 year's experience with automotive BOM management
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure, fast paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and directed with keen attention to detail.
  • Understanding of health and safety processes & procedures.
  • Applicants must be computer literate and be an expert in relevant business systems (e.g. Word, Powerpoint, Excel etc)
  • Knowledge of teamcentre or similar packages.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English (German is an advantage)
  • Can form strong working relationships with internal and external parties.
  • Knowledge of vehicle development processes, milestones and deliverables is an advantage.

Additional Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs unassisted, bend, stretch, stand for extended periods of time, climb stairs, reach, twist, sit, walk, and/or run.
  • Must be willing to work overtime and on weekends where needed to meet deadlines and company goals.
