Job Description
- Gathers internal requirements and creates specifications. Designs, modifies, develops, writes, implements, and supports business reports and ERP software development requirements.
- Participates in the QA and testing process which includes working with the business users to validate report data.
Experience and/or Education Requirements
- 1 + years of experience with Dynamics AX 2012 Technical Development Work
- 5 + years in software development
- An understanding of the Dynamics AX object model
- Must have a working knowledge of X++ and .NET programming languages
- Has In-depth knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the area of expertise.
- Must have a working knowledge of relational databases, client-server and object oriented concepts.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Can perform a variety of complicated tasks and has ability to multi-task.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
- A solid understanding of business applications and database technologies.
- Ability to understand business requirements, as well as technical solutions.
- Ability to articulate and document objectives, progress and issues effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Visual Studio, SSRS -- Report Writing in Dynamics AX is Primarily in SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)
- SQL Server Database
- Experience with Crystal Reports, Business Objects, or similar reporting applications
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Office tools and technologies including Excel & SharePoint
