Auto Sales

Hawkinson Nissan and Hawkinson Kia are looking for PART TIME Auto Sales Consultants to join our Organization. 

You should have some sales experience for this position. Previous Auto Sales a plus, but not mandatory. 

Hawkinson Nissan and Kia is a family owned and run dealer group that focuses on retaining customers and employees. 

We offer a friendly working environment for both our customers and employees. 

For the first time ever, we are offering a PART-TIME Sales position, approximately 30 hours per week, for those candidates who need a flex-schedule for what ever reason. This position might be mostly mornings and afternoons, or perhaps mostly evenings. Perhaps you would consider working a four day work week, such as Wednesday through Saturday, off Sunday through Tuesday? 

We offer a 3 week PAID Training Program and will not put you ont e sales floor until you are ready to go! 

From there we will pay you a salary and commission with a volume bonus. Interested candidates may earn up to $60,000 per year part-time. 

Our philosophy is that sales consultants are the MOST IMPORTANT employees in the entire operation. Our sales consultants are the core of our operation because it is their responsibility to sell customers, who become repeat buyers and send referrals. 

Our entire operation is based on repeat and referral business. Our sales consultants use their CRM sales software to build a customer portfolio and they contact their data base constantly to discern where their customers are in the trade-cycle. 

WHAT WE OFFER 

We have a 100 page sales training manual that we will train you when you arrive and train every day that you work. All of our processes and procedures are in writing. There's no surprises about what our expectations are of our sales consultants. if you do what we ask, and market yourself, you will make over $100,000. 

There's a tremendous opportunity to sell New Kias and New Nissans in the Matteson Auto Mall. We also stock over 200 used vehicles and sell over 150 used each month.

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively present products and services to and develop relationships with potential clients.
  • Handle all administrative aspects of the sale
  • Stay up to date with product knowledge, accessories, pricing plans
  • Know the market by keeping up with competitive offers and be able to provide market feedback to the Sales Manager regarding local competition and product/service needs
  • Making two-day and two-week follow-up calls with customers to check in with them and to offer additional services

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma OR GED; college degree preferred
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Available to work mornings, evenings and Saturdays
  • Customer service experience a plus
  • Automobile Sales experience a MUST!
  • Background in sports or other competitive environments a plus
  • Experience with commission-based sales
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screens (Background Check)
