Associate Producer

Role Purpose

This position is part of the core video production team, reporting to the Motorsport.TV Director of Production. The role includes day-to-day technical and creative proficiency to edit and produce motorsports content for Motorsport Network digital and broadcast platforms.

 

Responsibilities

Produce and edit motorsports-related content for Motorsport Network digital and broadcast platforms, including but not limited to: daily and weekly features, highlight packages, sales and marketing support material, etc.

Work independently and collaboratively with the team and larger digital and linear production groups. Take creative direction as well as help to provide new approaches to the editorial process.

 

Qualifications/Requirements

Minimum three (3) years’ work in experience in television production.

At least one (1) years’ experience in digital media production.

Minimum two (2) years’ experience with multi-camera studio setup and/or live television production, including internships.

Expert in non-linear environment.

Solid experience with 3rd party plug ins (e.g. Sapphire, Boris, etc.)

After Effects knowledge a plus.

Ability to work in a fast paced, high-pressure environment.

Ability to watch Motorsport.TV and view Motorsport.com website on a regular basis.

Ability to produce multiple projects from inception to completion independently.

Ability to take direction and constructive criticism.

Ability to work unconventional hours, weekends and holidays.

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

Must possess a basic understanding of lighting and camera operations.

Must be highly organized and detail-oriented.

Must have exhibited in past roles the willingness to provide a new approach to editorial process.

Strong knowledge of motorsports.
