Your responsibilities

Summary of Responsibilities: Analyze and interpret production data to resolve issues, improve processes, and maximize profitability. Develop and support Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), and third party device applications related to data collection. Position Responsibilities: Contribute to cross-functional project teams supporting activities related to data acquisition from the following, but not limited to: OPC-UA, PLCs, robots, cameras, welders, and various third party devices Perform diagnostic and predictive analytics Identify and evaluate trends and patterns in data Provide visualizations and reports to management team Prepare data through the entire life cycle: Mining, cleaning, and organizing, Interpreting and predicting, Visualizing, reporting, and presenting Assist with developing policies to govern data collection Solve quality problems associated with process control systems and develop statistical methods to diagnose quality problems Work with process/product engineering and maintenance to make necessary changes to equipment for improvements, system upgrades, preventative procedures, product changes, and new product launches Maintain a safe working environment by complying with all Business Unit safety and environmental policies in the workplace Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Your profile

Selection Criteria:

  • Associate or Bachelor Degree in a related technical field required or an equivalent level of experience may be considered
  • Mandatory high level grasp of mathematics and statistical measures with the ability to develop formulas to describe and evaluate large amounts of data
  • Solid understanding of computer programming and software development
  • Capable to work both independently and as part of a larger group
  • Preference given to those with work experience using Rockwell RSLogix/Studio 5000, Siemens TIA Portal, Ignition SCADA, Python, and Microsoft SQL
