Your new role
We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic person with aluminium TIG welding experience to join our small, friendly team.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience TIG welding aluminium 1.5-3mm to a very high standard
- Be willing to learn and able to develop this skill on the job
- Understand the importance of cleanliness of work
- Be involved with preparation of jobs ready for welding
- Have an understanding of fabrication and work with the fabrication team
- Be able to work on their own initiative with minimal supervision following the initial training period.
- Will be able to work from drawings and gather kits of parts from stores
- Be willing to undertake any other relevant duties that may be delegated.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate for this fantastic permanent role will ideally have previous experience and take a proactive approach to daily duties. Attention to detail and willingness to learn is absolutely key. The ideal candidate will need to have a positive, can-do attitude to make the role their own.
What we offer
In return, you will be working for a company that values each and every member of staff, and boasts a family feel culture. We offer £11 to £14 per hour for the right candidate depending upon experience, based on a three month trial period.
You will be working in a small and friendly team and the role will be 8-5 Monday to Thursday and 8-2 on Fridays.
