For our Design Team in Greding (D-91171) we’re looking for a skilled, and highly motivated Aerodynamic Engineer with experience in Aero testing.
Tasks
- Aerodynamic performance development
- Preparation of aerodynamic surfaces
- Preparation of CFD simulations (Pre-processing, solving, post-processing)
- Optimization of processes and simulations
- Defining basic aero concepts for the car and defining design goals for DO (packaging, exhaust and radiator position, …)
- Validation and development of aero parts using wind tunnel, p-tap measurement and flow vis
- Creating aero-maps and aero-setups for different tracks
Requirements
- University degree in Mechanical Engineering / Aerospace Engineering /Automotive Engineering or equivalent qualification
- CFD Knowledge (theory, meshes, solving, pre- and post-processing, data validation)
- Car aerodynamic and dynamic knowledge
- Experience in Aero testing
- Proficient knowledge of CATIA V5
- Motorsport experience
- Great teamwork ability
- Willingness to travel
