Aerodynamic Electronic System Engineer

The position:

We are looking to recruit an electronics control systems engineer to design and commission bespoke items to enhance our Wind Tunnel Facility and aerodynamic development models.

Key operational duties:

  • Work as part of the Aerodynamic Test Facility Team developing testing capabilities.
  • Design, manufacture, test and commission bespoke electronic and control systems for use in the wind tunnel facility and on the wind tunnel model.
  • Ensure a high quality of electronic systems is maintained with appropriate fault investigations and support of maintenance activities.
  • Conduct R&D of new technologies in software and controls, mechatronics and sensor technology.

Ideal credentials:

  • Ability to provide reliable, bespoke, low volume electronics and associated control systems.
  • Excellent team player and communicator, able to work effectively across multiple groups.
  • Some wind tunnel experience would be advantageous, as would experience within a motorsport environment.

The Location:

The Williams Group are based in Grove, Oxfordshire. We offer free onsite parking and large open green spaces to unwind during breaks. We are a short 5 minutes’ from Wantage, our closest town center.
