Your responsibilities

Summary:

Will have ownership of several important systems and processes that have a significant opportunity to impact business results. The incumbent will be expected to initiate improvements to these systems and work processes as appropriate and execute against these.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Creates, updates, and ensures contributors complete material masters (i.e. rate routings, production revisions and cost collectors) in SAP in timely manner.

• Creates and updates routings in Manufacturing Engineering System (MES).

• Coordinates annual rate routing audits.

• Documents/updates standard processes and communicates to the team.

• Supports Director. Manufacturing as well as OE and AM Team on projects.

• Creates and pulls together weekly and monthly reporting for analysis.

• Improves the Hamilton Operations SharePoint Site and/or fills site with content.

• Runs reports weekly/monthly reports and organizes data into spreadsheets.

• Supports to improve 6S in the production office.

• Responsible for ordering office supplies for the production office.

• Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Your profile

Qualifications & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent education required.

• Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office software (Power Point, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, Teams).

• Experience in using ERP systems, e.g., SAP software.

• Aptitude to clearly communicate in both verbal and written mediums across various functional teams.

• Proven ability to solve practical problems and develop new standards for the process.

• Adept at interpreting a variety of instructions in written or verbal form.

• Demonstrated good problem-solving skills.

• Self-starter requiring little direction.

• Displays a professional manner in the workplace.

• Possesses a stable work history, preferably in a manufacturing environment, and a strong personal desire to work safely and maintain a safe working environment.

• Demonstrates a strong customer focus along with a great work ethic and willingness to do what needs to be done (without taking shortcuts.)

• Demonstrates knowledge of basic math, including working with decimals, and strong mechanical aptitude. Possesses a logical method of problem solving and willingness to learn and improve one’s skills.

• Demonstrates a strong commitment to meet and exceed customer requirements at all times.

• Must be able to work required overtime that can be substantial during peak customer production periods.

• Sets high expectations and achieves results.

• Ability to communicate in both executive and working environments.

• Highly organized with ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Exhibits integrity through fair and ethical behaviors in all activities; maintains accountability for performance.

• Strong attention to detail with well-developed organizational and communication skills.
